Beyonce's "I Am..." World Tour Costumes Revealed

The first sketches of what Sasha Fierce will be wearing have been revealed--they're designed by Thierry Mugler. It imagines Beyoncé as a tough, chic, superheroine type who likes her power glam with a bit of fizz; hence, the bow bustle and mismatched gloves that pair lacy fishnet with articulated metal. But don’t expect Beyoncé to stay in the outfits for long. There will be a lot of dramatization and metamorphosis on stage, Mugler promised. Mugler's role didn't stop at costumes. He actually served as the tour's creative adviser, weighing in on everything, including lights, sets, and these insane costumes, which he describes as feminine, free, warrior, and fierce. As a creative adviser for this tour, it is my responsibility to make her vision come true. I will say this Queen B has come a long way from the days of Destiny's Child and the matching outfits her mother made, which sometimes had the resemblance of a home ec project, don't you think?

Okay, back when TWATW (The Who And The What) first started, my first post mentioned something about reliving the 80's and me not having the pleasure of a Starter Jacket (along with other things, MCM). Anyway I was really bitter about this situation, but much to my surprise, I was flipping through some celebrity pictures and what do I see, Omarion with a throwback Hornets Starter Jacket. I am not sure if he's relevant enough to make it a fashion trend but, there's hope..... please pray for me. Maybe I can wear it with some skinny jeans, a wide belt and some louboutins. Louboutins make any fashion trend work...... Oh Yeah he took out is braids.....

House Of Style Is Back

House of Style Premiered on March 21 at 3 p.m. on MTV, with a new host but not to much greatness. The new show is hosted by Bar Refaeli and Chanel Iman is a special correspondent. The segments included a Top Ten Most Wanted Trends that touts jelly shoes, a lesson in how to make a friendship bracelet led by Teen Vogue's fashion editor and Charlotte Ronson, a conversation with Taylor Swift about her style, a lesson from Jessica Stam about how to shop from one's closet, and Chanel hanging out with Erin Fetherston as she throws a dinner party. Justin Timberlake took us behind the scenes at his William Rast fashion show....... Sounds like something for Disney Channel.

So I am in Walmart this weekend and I run into the clothing section and I see Norma Kamali. I don't know about you but I didn't get the memo. Anyway, the item were really nice. I am a big Target shopper and I love the GO designers but this line is really well put together. It's for the everyday, easy going women. You can find clothes for work, play, going out, and working out. I was really surprised with the diversity of the line and the prices are great, nothing over $30.00 and some of the tee shirt are made with organic cotton. My favorite piece is the "All In One Jersey top", it could be worn 8 different ways as show below in the first 3 pictures.
