Oprah's Move to D.C.

It was reported that our favorite daytime host Lady O, was packing up and moving to Washington, DC. to be closer to her friends Barrack and Michelle Obama. Although, it would have been nice to see Lady O and Sophie (her dog) walking around Adams Morgan on Saturdays, that report was false. However, we will keep you posted on the matter, you never know.

Is Sasha Firce Really a Cat Burglar?

I guess when Beyonce is taking song writer credits for songs she didn't write she'll put the blame on Sasha Fierce. Rumor has it, B is taking song writer credit for "Smash into me" on her "I am Sasha Fierce" deluxe edition album. The song was originally written by pop/rock sensation Jon McLaughlin as "Smack into me", and was to appear on his sophomore album. NOT EASILY BROKEN is an uplifting drama about love and family adapted from the book written by renowned pastor and author Bishop T.D. Jakes. Taraji P. Henson and Morris Chestnut star in this relationship drama about a couple whose marriage is failing. Soon they must face a married couple's most serious questions: are we really meant to be together, and if we are, how do we fight to keep what we have built as man and wife?

This movie may be another hit for the golden girl Taraji. Make sure you go and support the film.

2009 Oscar News

The dates for the 2009 Oscars have been revealed, and feature a slight shift from its regular time table.  The Oscar nominations will be announced on Thursday, January 22, and the ceremony will be held on Sunday, February 22.  Traditionally the nominations are announced on a Tuesday, but due to the presidential inauguration on January 20, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences decided to push back the date.
