Dr. Dre's son died from overdose

Dr. Dre's son, Andre Young Jr., died from an overdose of heroin and morphine, the LA Department of Coroner confirmed to PEOPLE on Friday.  Young, was found unresponsive by his mother in their home on the morning of August 23, 2008.  "This case has been closed, it's been ruled an accident due to morphine and heroin intoxication," coroner spokesman Larry Diets told PEOPLE.

Travolta's Son Dies in Bahamas

Reported from CNN: Travolta's son Jett died suddenly on Friday during a family vacation in the Bahamas, according to the family's lawyer. Jett, 16, suffered a seizure at his family's vacation home. Jennifer Hudson to sing at the Inauguration?

The New York Post is reporting that Jennifer Hudson is being asked to perform at the swearing in of President-elect Barack Obama, in what would be her first appearance since the October murders of her mother, brother and nephew. "Organizers want Jennifer to sing 'The Star-Spangled Banner' at the Inauguration on Jan. 20," a source told Page Six.





Hudson sang the national anthem at the Democratic National Convention in Denver in August.

Usher Performs in Vegas New Year's Eve

One of my favorite couples, Usher and Tameka Raymond took a break from the kids, while Usher hosted a New Years Eve party at Las Vegas club Bank at the Bellagio. Supposedly, this was the first night out for the couple since welcoming their second son, Naviyd Ely Raymond last month. Usher performed "Love In This Club" "Bad Girls" and "Yeah." The Raymond's also celebrated Tameka's birthday. Happy belated B’day Tameka!
