The Beautiful Life Cancelled......

If you blinked you missed the season premiere and the final episode of the CW's Beautiful Life. Mixed with all the right ingredient for a good show with much potential, Aushton Kucher as producer, Misha Barton as lead actress, and of course a fashion industry faves Zac Posen, and Elle MacPherson. Unfortunately, it missed one thing...... the viewing audience. For the second episode only 1.1 million tuned in, that being added with bad acting created a formula for failure, my only concern was that I missed it. I personally think it was bad marketing, and advertising. In my personal opinion, the network was to blame because we can never have too many real life models, fashion, and over-absorbed teens on TV. Better luck next time Aush, but at least you still have Demi.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom Get Married

Say it ain't so!!!!! OK Magazine confirms that after a whirlwind romance (and only knowing each other for a month), reality starlet Khloe Kardashian and L.A. Laker Lamar Odom married on Sunday afternoon, in front of friends and family. Khloe was escorted down the aisle by her stepfather, Olympic decathlete Bruce Jenner. Sisters Kourtney and Kim Kardashian served as maids of honor while younger half-sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, best friends Khadijah and Malika Haqq and Lauren London were her bridesmaids — all of whom also wore dresses designed by Vera Wang. Meanwhile, Lamar’s best man was his business partner, Jamie Sangouthai and his groomsmen were Robert Davis, Alex Harris, Lester Knispel, Jeff Schwartz and Khloe’s only brother, Robert Kardashian Jr. Attendees included Ryan Seacrest, Kelly Osbourne, and Kobe Bryant, and former boxing champ Sugar Ray Leonard. Also, Babyface was there and serenaded the newleyweds.…….Let’s see how long this lasts. My bet is about 2 years.

Estee Lauder to Close Prescriptives

If you haven't heard already, Estee Lauder will closing the retail distribution of its 30-year-old Prescriptives brand by January 31, 2010. The good news is Prescriptives products will continue to be sold on the brand’s website to U.S. consumers only, while inventory lasts. But at least one product is safe, the Prescriptives fragrance Calyx , which is a favorite among consumers, will continue to be distributed through Aramis and Designer Fragrances and sold at the fragrance bar in select fine department stores and online beginning February 1, 2010. Time to stock up before it’s gone forever........

Jimmy Choo to Unveil Classics Line

While we all anxiously await the arrival of the Jimmy Choo collection for H&M, there is some more news about the luxury British brand. Jimmy Choo has updated its most popular styles with new colors and finishes with the line Choo 24/7. The collection of 28 styles will be unveiled today and include the popular platform pumps, the classic pointy toe pumps, and the sexy strappy evening stilettos.

Choo 24/7 is on display at the brand's showroom in Milan this week and will launch nationwide in January. Although the prices are not as affordable as the H&M line, the collection is exciting nonetheless.
