Joe Zee Wants Your Man

Does your man need a make over? Well, Joe Zee the creative director at Elle wants your man for his column. Check out what New York Post had to say.

"Elle creative director and new City star Joe Zee is looking for boyfriends to make over for his column. "Is that guy in your life screaming 'untapped potential'? Is his hair more Don King than Don Juan?" Joe quips on his Facebook page. If you're interested in getting your man in Elle, send Joe his photo with a sentence or two on why he's a fashion fail. Think of how fun and awkward it could be! May as well let Joe deal with his kicking and screaming over "branching out."

Oh, How I Wish I Was Two Years Old

Gap is jumping on the bang wagon for high-end designers recreating lines for the masses. Stella McCartney designed a kid collection to hit Gap stores November 2. Sizes are from Newborn up to 12 years-old (is that a size, lol) and prices range from $14 up to $128. The lines is a miniature version of her ready-to-wear pieces. There is also a military jacket that looks a little like Balmain Hmmmm. Very cute......

Looks Like JCPenney Won't Be left Out

The Olsen girl will be joining Kimora and Charlotte Ronson in the juniors department of JCPenney. The new line call Olsenboye by the famous twins Mary-Kate and Ashley will soon hit stores, we're thinking spring. There's a web site listed for the line Olsenboye.com, but it doesn't appear to be up and running just yet.

Didn't We Almost Have It All

It appears that Christian Louboutin was asked to do a diffusion line for H&M but he declined. Check out the what New York Post had to say

"Christian Louboutin appeared at Bergdorf Goodman today to autograph his famous red soles. We pushed to the front to ask His Loubness if he'd ever do a line for a more affordable store, like H&M, which is about to launch a one-off Jimmy Choo collection. "They proposed me to do the diffusion line and I declined," he told us. "Not that I don't think it's an interesting idea, but it's a lot of work really, so it's just difficult for me to do it." Would he ever do one in the future? "No." It's not like he needs to — the way women were lining up to get their pumps signed, you'd think Bergdorf was giving them away.

But Louboutin also designs shoes for men. And today he wore his leopard-spotted men's high-tops. "I do like classical shoes, in reality, for men," he said. "What's funny enough is I saw a lot of people looking at the shoes thinking, well I never thought I would wear that, but it looks good. And then the same guy goes and buys them. So funny enough, it doesn't seem to me that special to have this sort of printed shoe." Hear that, men? Fuzzy leopard high-tops are totally normal."

Didn't we almost have it all; Jimmy Choo for H&M, Stella McCartney for Gap, and everyone for Target. (Personally, I think if Karl Lagerfeld, Mr. Chanel can make time to do a Diffusion line for H&M, Mr. Louboutin needs to think a little more about it..... Feel Me.)

Angelina Jolie for Gucci Movie

Sources say that Ridley Scott is in talks with Angelina about starring in Gucci, a film about the fashion house dynasty in the seventies and eighties, when they pulled $500 million in annual sales. Jolie is slated to play the ex-wife Patrizia Reggiano of Maurizio Gucci, who was convicted of plotting to murder her husband. She is now sentenced to 29 years in jail (Apparently, a hit man shot Maurizio on his doorstep in 1995, a year and a half after the sale of Gucci.) There is also talk that Leo DiCaprio could play Maurizio, as of now nothing is confirmed. Geesh... this sounds exciting, I can't wait for the film.

Finally I Give You, Tom Ford

We have been waiting on Tom Ford since he left Gucci and YSL back in 2004. We understand that no specific date has been set, but sources say that fall 2010 could be possible. Domenico De Sole, Ford's longtime business partner, is hunting for financing for the ladies' line. “Financing is extremely expensive right now, so if we find financing in the right situation we’ll be able to start soon. If we don’t, we may have to wait a while,” Ford said. De Sole would not say how much they're seeking, but it's said to be around $50 million. Ford added that once he gets the money, he'll need eighteen months to get the line off the ground so he can find factories and get the stores ready.

Jean Pual Gaultier Confirmed For Target

"Target confirmed on Monday that Jean Paul Gaultier will be the third in its series of Designer Collaborations, a relatively new concept intended to boost the discounter’s cheap-chic status" all I can say is Wooo-Whooo!!!
