CHANEL to Layoff 200 Workers



No one is safe in this economy, not even the almighty CHANEL. The lux fashion house most recognized for it's quilted handbags plans to cut 200 jobs effective Wednesday. The Guardian reports that some are calling the layoffs Chanel's "worst crisis" since Coco herself let the entire staff go at the start of the war in 1939.



Hayden-Harnett's New Line for Target







Hayden-Harnett's new line just dropped in Target stores. Although the bags should have arrived on the 28th some stores were without..... (Ahem Excuse me, any who) If the bags are not available at your local Target they are however online. The bag above is priced at $44.99. Not bad from it's $200.00-$600.00 range. At these prices we all can have a piece of the pie.

Marc's new Spring/Summer 09 collection and more, is available for viewing online at his website http://www.marcjacobs.com/ Although his MbyMJ collections are a little juvenile, I have to say they are constructed with all the love and care has is high end Marc Jacobs line. Personally I actually like the MbyMJ line better (I have the Airliner clutch from fall 08 and it's like butter) There are a few pieces in the 09 collect that just make me drool. Check it out.




Dame Edna is the New Spokesperson for M.A.C Cosmetics


The same company that gave us Mary J. B., Pam A. and Eve as former spokespersons is now bring in Dame Edna. Edna played by Australian comdian Barry Humphries, is the new face of our favorite make-up brand. "Lawd, if this face won't keep me away from the cherry, berries and pinks nothing will."
