Kobe and The West Win

The Western Conference scored a 146-119 victory over the Eastern Conference the sort of blowout that usually sends much of the crowd home long before the final buzzer, and it seemed a fitting ending to a weekend that NBA fans in the Valley of the Sun will remember most for all the negativity that surrounded their hometown team. Co-MVPs and former Lakers teammates Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant provided some postgame intrigue to an event that was otherwise lacking in drama.

2010 NBA All-Star Weekend will take place in the Dallas area Friday, Feb. 12 through Sunday, Feb. 14.
