I Don't Believe It.... Obsessed Was #1
Who knew Beyonce would beat Academy Award Winner Jamie Foxx in the "Soloist" and Terrence Howard in "Fight" to take the number one spot over the weekend with $26 mil. The movie has very mixed reviews some saying the acting was bad (of course) and the plot had been done over and over on Lifetime but, no matter what the reviews are the movie is still number one. I am happy that all the movies this weekend opened with predominately black actors as the lead. Idris has come a long way since Stringer Bell with his fine self.

My expectations were very low of this movie and it turns out that it's not as bad as I thought it would be...but it's still not great. Good...maybe...but Great Hell No! U can wait until it comes out on DVD. Idris is a good actor in my opinion and even he did not do his best, probably because he was acting along side some weak skilled females. lol!
ReplyDeleteI didn't see the movie and won't see the movie when it comes to DVD. This is just Fatal Attraction gone BAD!!! You can't out do Glenn Close. Beyonce needs to go away. She can't act. Stick to singing. Get over the fact that J Hud upstage your tail and won the oscar for a wonderful acting job. You want to show your acting skills (if any) play some unglamourized role and let's see what you're made of! Otherwise, leave the acting to the professionals. Besides that, I can count on one hand the singers who are good actors that were able to do both.
