Reported from New York Magazine: "new sample-sale website, Swirl, is live today. Its first sale features up to 80 percent off Alisha Levine, while Lauren Merkin, Tod's, and Leigh & Luca are all on deck for the rest of November. The site is only in beta-testing mode now (when we tried it, we got an error message on the homepage and loading pages took a long time), and a hard launch is planned for February 1. Sure, it may feel like the millionth sample-sale website to launch this year, but it's hard to fight a good bargain."
