R. Kelly's Divorce Finalized

After separating in 2005, R. Kelly and his now-ex-wife Andrea Kelly, a former backup dancer for the Chicago-based R&B star, finalized their divorce on Thursday, according to US Magazine. The couple, who had been married for 11 years, have two daughters and a son together. "The parties have reached an amicable resolution concerning all issues related to their marriage, and will share joint custody of their three children," their Chicago-based lawyers said in a joint statement.

Kelly was also briefly married to then 15-year-old singer Aaliyah for five months, but that marriage was reportedly annulled in February 1995 after just five months.

ELuxury.com to Close Retail Operations

ELuxury.com, the designer e-commerce site launched in June 2000 by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, will close the retail portion of the site completely by June and plans to move many of its employees over to other positions within LVMH. A spokeswoman at LVMH confirmed the San Francisco-based e-tailer is in the early stages of transitioning the site into an online magazine focusing on luxury markets. She said the reason for the closure of the retail operation was not based on the site’s financial performance, but rather because many of the brands it sells have developed their own online presences. “Starting in mid 2009, eLuxury’s new mission will be to create an ‘e-window’ into the world of luxury, by serving as an information reference for luxury in fashion, art de vivre, leather goods, wines and spirits, watches and jewelry, gastronomy, cars, yachts and services,” the spokeswoman said. “To that end, eLuxury intends to develop collaborations with the most prestigious names in the world of luxury media, as well as the main contributors of the luxury world.”

Barbie is All Doll'd Up

The Mattel company is planning a runway show in February, as part of fashion week in New York, with as yet-undisclosed designers who will produce life-size outfits inspired by Barbie. In addition, Barbie’s new partnership with Stila Cosmetics — bearing cheeky names such as “All Doll’d Up” is set to debut sometime this year. Barbie’s partnership with Stila Cosmetics hopes to prove that the toy company's highest-profile figurine is more than just a doll.

Peter Som and Creative Design Studios Split

The economy has claimed another fashion victim — the union between Peter Som and Creative Design Studios (CDS), the subsidiary of Lord & Taylor LLC. Less than a year and a half after striking a partnership, Som and CDS, which was created in 2007 to work with American talent, both funding and nurturing them in various ways, have agreed to go their separate ways. Because of the split and the current market conditions, Som will not stage a runway show during New York Fashion Week next month; however, the company is exploring options for the fall season.

Who Will Win the Project Runway Fight

With the battle of two networks, Project Runway has been in production, and the show is expected to debut in January. The sixth season was taped in L.A. and Tim's suggest that it's an amazing season. Why the torture, just bring the show back to Bravo.

Hard Times Hit Fashion Week

Can we please get a stimulus package for the fashion industry? IMG Fashion, which organizes Fashion Week, have about 80 designers on its schedule. However, only 52 have been confirmed for February Fashion Week. The lineup won't be finalized for another two weeks, but IMG senior vice-president Fern Mallis still expects a "full schedule." Zac Posen still hasn't decided whether to show or not and other designers could be in a similar position. So what will fashion week be without all the running and rushing from tent to tent. However there are a few designer returning to the tents, Tommy Hilfiger and William Rast, who have traditionally not shown in the tents. With the economy in not doing so well, designers don't see Fashion Week as cost effective. Just renting a tent that seats 350 to 1,100 people costs $25,000 to $50,000 and that doesn't include the hair, makeup, models.

Lindsay Lohan-Interview Magazine

Here’s a sneak peek of Lindsay Lohan’s February 2009 feature for Interview Magazine. Here’s what the 22-year old had to say On not getting the same opportunities as other actresses: “But it’s so impossible for me to actually [go someplace where no one knows me]. When I was in Dubai, there was still press lined up around the hotel. So I find it close to impossible to actually do that. I mean, it is what it is. This is what I asked for, and in this day and age that’s what actually goes on. But what hurts me the most is that I work just as hard as any other actress around my age, like Scarlett Johansson, but I just don’t get the opportunities that they get because people are so distracted by the mess that I created in my life. But that doesn’t mean it’s going to last forever." The February issue hits stands January 20th.

Apparently Ms. Tasia has not been making payment on time and she owes for back taxes. One payment was made of $10,000.00 back in August 2007, but nothing since. After taking a look at this outfit, I would say reports are true, she looks a hot sinking mess.

Are the Girls Back for A Sequel?

Rumor has it, all 4 stars of Sex and the City are signed on for the sequel. In recent interview SATC famed stylist Pat Fields says, that though she does believe the flick will happen, based on the confirmation she's received from King, she has yet to receive any 'official' information. According to Fields, king has not yet written the script, which will take at least a year and then there's filming. Although it might not be ready in 09, I do believe a sequel is coming.

Leave your comments on if we want to see more from these girls. Have we seen it all? Is there a need for a sequel? What's your take?
