A photo obtained by celebrity site TMZ apparently reveals R&B star Rihanna's facial injuries that were allegedly inflicted by Chris Brown during an altercation earlier this month prior to the Grammy Awards. While the photo has not been proven or disproven, it would seem to back up previous reports from TMZ and "E!" regarding "serious" swelling on both sides of Rihanna's face, as well as a split lip and swelling over her right eye. TMZ had also reported that Rihanna had a bloody nose, which was not present in this photo, although it's possible that it may have stopped before the photo was taken. No word on exactly where TMZ got the photo, although it's speculated it may be from a police field photo that was taken after the assault to document the incident. AWFUL!!!!Friday, February 20, 2009

Giorgio Armani 5th Avenue Store Opening Reception
Giorgio Armani made a gift of $1 million to The Fund for Public Schools to develop a multi-year, umbrella program entitled the Armani Arts Institute. He announced the donation at the opening of his new store on Fifth Avenue in New York with Caroline Kennedy, who is vice-chair of the fund, and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
The opening reception attracted Rachel Zoe, , Nina Garcia, Kevin Lyles, Leonardo DiCaprio, Alicia Keys, Milla Jovivich, Victoria Beckham, and Zoe Saldana.

Marc Jacobs will serve as this year’s Honorary Chair, and co-chairs include Kate Moss, Justin Timberlake, and Anna Wintour. Attendees will have the opportunity to preview the exhibit’s 70 masterworks of haute couture and ready-to-wear along with the editorial, advertising, and runway photography of those individuals who captured the essence of a fashion era.
