Rihanna's Assault Photo Leaked

A photo obtained by celebrity site TMZ apparently reveals R&B star Rihanna's facial injuries that were allegedly inflicted by Chris Brown during an altercation earlier this month prior to the Grammy Awards. While the photo has not been proven or disproven, it would seem to back up previous reports from TMZ and "E!" regarding "serious" swelling on both sides of Rihanna's face, as well as a split lip and swelling over her right eye. TMZ had also reported that Rihanna had a bloody nose, which was not present in this photo, although it's possible that it may have stopped before the photo was taken. No word on exactly where TMZ got the photo, although it's speculated it may be from a police field photo that was taken after the assault to document the incident. AWFUL!!!!

The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion

In the same week that Kate Moss has been proudly announcing her 27 British Vogue covers in an interview; Marc Jacobs too has referenced a legendary image from the Vogue archive. He stood against the backdrop of Peter Lindbergh's iconic 1990 British Vogue cover, featuring Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington and Tatiana Patitz on Wednesday morning, with an announcement about an upcoming Costume Institute exhibition.

"The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion", which runs from May 6 to August 9, at the Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute, will pay tribute to models through the ages, arranged by decade, from the Forties Dior muses to Versace's Nineties Amazonians. The exhibition launches just after the Costume Institute Gala which Jacobs and Moss will host together on May 4. The event is arguably the biggest fashion night of the year. Marc Jacobs will serve as this year’s Honorary Chair, and co-chairs include Kate Moss, Justin Timberlake, and Anna Wintour. Attendees will have the opportunity to preview the exhibit’s 70 masterworks of haute couture and ready-to-wear along with the editorial, advertising, and runway photography of those individuals who captured the essence of a fashion era.
