Teen Vogue has created “Teen Vogue Handbook: An Insider’s Guide to Careers in Fashion.” The book will give inside tips from Marc Jacobs, Anna Wintour and the Teen Vogue staff in how to break into the fashion business. With superb photos, interviews with industry icons such as Bruce Weber and Patrick Demarchelier, and six sections that include information from editors and assistants, the handbook will serve as the link between the style conscious girl and the seemingly impassable fashion world.

Teen Vogue readers often ask the same questions: How do I get an internship? What should I major in at college? Should I attend design school? And finally, how did you get your job, and how can I get your job? This book will answer all of those questions.

Readers looking to turn a passion for fashion into a career will get the inside scoop from industry pros and up-and-comers in photography, design, styling and journalism with sections that include:
· A Q&A with the king of cool, Marc Jacobs
· Words of wisdom from Karl Lagerfeld and Anna Wintour
· Profiles of contributing photographers
· A list of essential beauty products from industry pros
· Advice from stylists and model scouts
· Practical advice from models, assistants and interns

The book hits the shelves on October 5th, and will be available for $17 at Amazon.com.

Ruthie Davis: Stiletto Extraordinaire

The New York-based designer, Ruthie Davis, who honed her skills at top design jobs with Reebok, Ugg and Tommy Hilfiger, launched her namesake collection in 2006 and has since been building a following with her sky-high stilettos distinguished by pops of neon and unique hardware embellishments. Davis also made big changes to her collection for fall ’09 by segmenting it into two labels, Davis by Ruthie Davis and Ruthie Davis. Davis, priced between $698 and $798, is built around a two-for-one combo package consisting of a pump and a take down flat in the same colorway. The Ruthie Davis collection, meanwhile, will continue to feature a broader offering of heels. Celebrities including Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Beyonce Knowles, and Kim Kardashian are fans of the stilettos. Ruthiedavis.com

What Anna, No Manolo's?

Anna Wintour made an unexpected appearance at the 2009 Hampton Designer Showcase on Saturday to support her dear friend (and personal decorator) Jesse Carrier of Carrier & Company. The creative visionary behind Wintour’s Thompson Street apartment and East End compound has also designed the Vogue lobby and Wintour’s office at 4 Times Square. But what’s really intriguing.... Wintour in flats? We never dreamed!

Lily Allen’s Chanel handbag campaign

Lilly Allen poses perfectly with the new quilted bag from Chanel's new ‘Coco Cocoon' line. 'The quilted duffel bags might look big, but they're the comfiest bags in the world to carry because of the material. They're amazing,' Lily said as she posed for yet another campaign shoot – this time for her own jewelry line. Judging by how beautiful she looks in these images Lily's becoming quite the expert at fashion shoots. Mind you, this one was shot by Karl Lagerfeld – a man you can trust to make you look fabulous. The luxury sportswear bags don't hit the shelves of Chanel until October.

If Kim K. Can't Keep A Man, We All In Trouble......

We usually don't do the splitsville updates, but we really didn't see this one coming. It's official, Bush and Tush are over. It's been confirmed by their reps to People Magazine, here's what People had to say:

"Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend of two years, New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush, are going their separate ways, the reality star's rep confirms to PEOPLE. The pair, who recently returned from a charity trip to Africa with Kardashian's sister Khloe, just last May talked about "heading" toward marriage, but sources tell PEOPLE their relationship suffered from the time they spent apart – with yet another separation looming with the upcoming NFL season. "They never get to see each other, ever," the source says. "It's been a long time coming. They still love each other and are part of their lives, but Reggie spends six months out of the year in New Orleans, so it's tough.""
