Getting charitable at Paris Fashion Week, many stars showed up for the Fashion Dinner for AIDS event held at the Pavillion d’Armenonville last night.




Mischa Barton wore an exquisite Elie Saab couture mint green gown complimented with a pair of Elie Saab Spring 2009 Couture heels (too bad we can't see them).




Milla Jovovich also wore a straight-off-the-runway gown from Elie Saab's Spring 2009 Couture collection.

Carla Bruni, France's First Lady wore a strapless YSL column gown.

Rihanna at Super Bowl Pepsi Smash

As celebrities and sports fans alike pour into Tampa, Florida for the big Super Bowl XLIII weekend, there are plenty of events to keep them busy. And last night Rihanna performed a four-song set at the Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash at Florida State Fairgrounds’ Ford Amphitheatre on Thursday. RiRi looked footbalsexy with her shin guards, kneepads, and a hot pair of Christian Louboutin booties!

Did She Not Get The Memo?

So, I just read a story that destroyed my day. Apparently the women who gave birth to the Octuplets on Monday, (get this) already had 6 kids. According to the Associated Press she's fairly young, and lives at home with her parents. The mother took fertility drugs last year and found out she was pregnant with multiples, when asked by doctors if she wanted to decrease the number of embryos she declined.

Does anyone else see anything wrong with this story? If you already have 6 kids why are you taking fertility drugs? Furthermore, why do you even want more kids, and you live at home? Where is the father of the other 6 kids? Perhaps she also didn't know the country is in an economical crisis. I need more details on this story if my tax dollars are going to be paying for these babies, because she surely can't work. I'm heated. To read this story click on the link below.

Blueprint 3: New Jay-Z track

One of Brooklyn’s finest Jay Z has spoken about his new album The Blueprint 3 and explained why it’s not been released yet. Jigga spoke to MTV News’ presenter Sway backstage at his pre-election gig and said he had other distractions. Jay revealed: "For me, the process of making an album is difficult with so many things going on… And me, I wanna make it beyond and above. I'm gonna take my time with it.”

The hip hop impresario has recently contributed tracks to the Notorious soundtrack and a recorded a remix of Young Jeezy’s My President. He continued: “I don't have any quotas, and that's a good thing. It may be too freeing. It's a good thing and a bad thing… 'Cause if I had restrictions, I would have done it in three weeks. I would have made what I believe to be a great piece of art.”

FINALLY Kelly Rowland & Matthew Knowles Split

Kelly Rowland and her manager, Matthew Knowles, are going their separate ways.

Kelly released a statement, saying, “Matthew Knowles has been a positive influence in my career. I have had great success under his guidance–both as a member of Destiny’s Child and with my solo projects. Although we have decided to part ways professionally, the Knowles family and the entire Music World Entertainment team will always be my family.”

Matthew Knowles also says in a statement: “After a very positive meeting between Kelly Rowland and myself, we have amicably agreed to end our professional relationship. My company, Music World, will continue to manage Destiny’s Child as a group. As an artist Kelly has incredible talent and I only wish her the best. We will always be family first and foremost and as a dad I can only have love for Kelly.”

Rowland – who turns 27 next month – did not say who her new manager will be.

The City Signed For Season Two

Surprise Surprise "The City" on MTV Starring Whitney (from "The Hills") and my favorite (give her, her own show) Olivia Palermo has just signed on for season two. MTV has ordered another season of the hit show, following a stellar season-one debut. The show is suppose to be about Whitney's move from L.A. to the big city of N.Y, but not for nothing Olivia makes this worth the watch. Besides the drama (not interested) the restaurants, and clothes (on Olivia) are ridiculous not to mention their great job at DVF. If you think I'm lying, check it out Mondays, at 10 on MTV.

Vogue's September Issue Photoshopped

So there has been a lot of buzz at the Sundance Film Festival about R.J Cutler Documentary "The September Issue" Here's a brief description of the file "The September 2007 issue of Vogue magazine weighed nearly five pounds, and was the single largest issue of a magazine ever published. With unprecedented access, The September Issue, directed and produced by R.J. Cutler, tells the story of legendary Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour and her larger-than-life team of editors creating the issue and ruling the world of fashion".

Sienna Miller graced the September cover and the film includes a glimpse at the Photo shopping that went into the cover. The Daily Mail writes Miller was "airbrushed within an inch of her life."

Apparently Anna Wintour calls Miller "toothy," while her staff worries she has "too many fillings" and "unruly hair." They also wound up Photo shopping one shot of Miller's head onto a different one of her body.

I can't wait to see this film, I am a magazine-o-holic. I will by the lastest magazine before I pay for lunch. (Sad, I know)

Taylor Swift to Launch Dress Collection

Taylor Swift will be collaborating with l.e.i. to develop her own line of $14 dresses, which will launch at Wal-Mart next month (Look out Miley). The 19-year-old explains that she is not a designer nor want to become one, she has respect for the craft and knows her place in life as a musician. Taylor says "I like people who have worked their entire lives to become designers. I think that they have their place as designers and I have my place as a musician, and I'm going to pretty much stick to that." Thanks goodness, if only other musician felt the same way.

Christian Lacroix Couture Spring 2009

Lacroix titled his show “The Designs of her Nature,” and in his program notes listed such moods as mischievous, elated and poised. Certainly Lacroix has neither Dior- nor Chanel-scale resources behind him, but his tempered approach seemed rooted in something apart from, or in addition to, the economy. It made for a quizzical collection. Lacroix showed some beautiful work - a deftly draped vermilion chiffon goddess gown; flamboyant bohemian layerings of painted gazar and chiffon - he doesn’t know how to make a bad dress. Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Hounsou were photographed walking in the Sante Fe mall while attending the launch of the Baby Phat clothing line in Mexico City on Tuesday. Rumor is that she and Djimon are already married. If this is true, will her name be Kimora Lee Simmons Hounsou???

The jeans will be made of pre-washed/pre-shrunk Japanese selvage denim that will have the look of raw denim, but without the side-effects such as indigo bleed. In addition, the pockets are lined with the finest silk and the button closure is plated with 18-karat gold. Men will have the option of black or white as well as the traditional indigo color to compliment their wardrobes. We are dying to see what a pair of $990 jeans looks like. The fashion world was never in sync with reality, and it looks like Tom Ford is taking it to a whole new level.

Rihanna might be fitted for a role in the third installment of 'Charlie's Angels' ! Rumor is Rihanna is being considered for a follow up to the blockbusters 'Charlie's Angels' and 'Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle' that have starred Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu, and Drew Barrymore. Making the statement that actresses should start pitching for a role as a fourth angel in the film, Nancy Juvonen, one of the producers says "I'm having a Rihanna fixation myself". It's no secret that Rihanna has been eying Hollywood. Recently dismissing her role in the flick "Mama Black Widow" Rihanna admitted she's open to looking at scripts and admires Angelina Jolie's work on screen. First Lady Michell O. to Cover VOGUE

It appears Vogue has finally landed First Lady Michelle Obama for a cover — and it could be out in the next few weeks. Thank Obama’s hairdresser for confirming the news: Frédéric Fekkai stylist Johnny Wright. A Vogue spokesman stayed on script about whether Michelle Obama will make a cover appearance, saying simply, “We’re very interested in working with the First Lady.” Nevertheless, all signs point to go for Mrs. Obama’s cover turn. Photographer Annie Leibovitz, who shoots for many Condé Nast titles, including Vogue and Vanity Fair, was spotted in Washington last week leaving the Hay-Adams Hotel, where the Obamas were staying before their eventual move to the White House. And since the March Vogue’s spring fashion issue, which hits newsstands in mid-February, is one of the thickest of the year, most observers suspect that would be the most likely one to feature the new First Lady (and family).

Thieves On The Lipstick Jungle Set

Okay, so either the stage manger on the set of Lipstick Jungle was not familiar with fashion-borrowing etiquette or he just needed some cash-ola. Arthur Moreira was just arrested for allegedly plundering the shows fashion closet and selling the items online. Designer Sylvia Toledano's employees got wind of his scam when they found several items they had lent to the show on eBay. The police set up a full-blown sting operation to catch Moreira that involved buying the stolen items at his apartment. Items stolen included sequined mosaic clutches, an Oscar de la Renta snakeskin bag, and Gucci coats. Now I can't say I blame poor Art, times are hard, and with good shows being cancelled (Cashmere Mafia, Dirty, Sexy, Money) who knows when his next job would have been.
